We are a family with 2 kids at 5 years old visiting BASK Gili Meno for 4 days in a 2 bedroom beach villa - ended up extending for one more day as later-on the resort unfortunately for us was fully booked. Managers and staff was handzon, exeptionally friendly and catered all matters promptly. Their expertice on food and wine was superb and all went the extra mile to ensure we had an amazing time - both on and off the resort. We cannot thank BASK enough for making these days very special and unique for our family. A BIG thank you from the Mowinckel family.

Overall, it's a nice place. The staff is polite, and the coffee and drinks are tasty. I plan to come back to try the breakfast. However, there's a significant downside: the intrusive vendors. While enjoying my coffee at a table on the beach, a vendor approached me, asking if I wanted to buy something. I expressed that I would appreciate being able to enjoy my coffee without interruptions. In response, the vendor claimed, "this is our land!" Excuse me, what!? I didn't come here to live or to buy tons of low-quality crafts that could cause skin irritation (proved case). I came for quality services, good views and serenity. Indonesia Travel official web site said: “Explore Indonesia's diverse beauty, culture, and adventure on Indonesia Travel. Plan your journey to this tropical paradise”. Not a «experience rude attitude of our people». Many people come here to relax, not to be hassled by such individuals. Why do they come and repeatedly ruin the mood and the holiday experience? It's not the first time this has happened. I suggest addressing this issue and boycotting such rude behavior. Or outright banning these vendors from entering respectable places, to prevent them from bothering guests and tarnishing the state's image in the eyes of tourists. Every day, such characters spoil the holiday experience. If tourists then decide to stop coming altogether, what will you do?? UPD I was there for several days in a row. It's really great to spend the day here. Pros: If you're not staying at the hotel, they provide a towel. Turtles swim right by the shore; you don't even need to dive. The coffee is decent. The food is good, but they can make mistakes with orders. There is a big pool. Great Bennie’s eggs. Cons: Vendors. High tax: more than 20% added to the menu price. There's no shower to rinse off after the sea or pool, no foot shower either, so everyone goes into the pool with sandy feet. The cocktails are weak. Some dishes do not match their descriptions, for instance, I ordered a board for breakfast with snacks and a so-called “classic shakshuka”, but what I actually got was beans with a baked egg on top. This is far from shakshuka. The girl who took the order mixed it up, resulting in the jamu coming last, and the croissant was brought much later, by which time I had already finished my coffee and had to order another one. She also insisted that this was their interpretation of shakshuka, but then they shouldn't write in the menu that it's classic. Otherwise, people order and receive something completely different. Just write then: backed beans with an egg on top, special from bask. Overall, the staff is okay. I would highly recommend tweaking the menu. And to pay more attention to the lounger area. I was on the same lounger for two days. And for two days, the same trash was lying there, even on the table.

The very definition of 5 star. Myself and my partner spend a couple days here at the Bask Beach club and while we did NOT stay here as (we are backpackers and the rooms were out of our price range) we really enjoyed chilling by the absolutely incredible pool and amazing atmosphere. Yes, granted the beers are maybe £1 (15,000 rupahia) more expensive than the average but you are treated to the most beautiful, clean infinity pool, sun day beds, a swim up bar, top class service and all in all just total luxury - all overlooking the incredible Gili Meno beach front. We came back the next day to try the breakfast MoJo deal - 70,000 for a coffee, croissant and a healthy shot was brilliant value for money. If you are after a luxury resort holiday, or just a little bit of luxury after a heavy few weeks backpacking, I really recommend checking this place out. It really is the gem in the crown of Gili Meno. Thanks to the staff for making the experience that much better and we can't wait to come back soon.

We did not stay here but we had dinner here and the next morning my daughter had an oat milk - honey cappuccino here. Dinner was lovely. Food was very good. Setting was super nice. The General manager who was also the sommelier recommended a wine for me. Most of my trip I did not drink alcohol opting instead for fruit smoothies and sparkling water as I like wine and a nice wine by the glass was hard to find and was overpriced because of the taxes there. So for the most part I had a detox vacation which was also good for me. Our evening here was very enjoyable. Staff was super attentive. The next morning, the General manager was super helpful as well. He seemed to be the only person on the island who was aware that there was an extra ferry going back to Bali after the Day of Silence and this relieved a lot of stress for us as we needed to get back to Bali and had not pre-booked a ferry and we had been told by many that all the ferry bookings were sold out for that day. My daughter had ran to the ferry area and was informed about the 3 pm ferry but nobody else could verify it for us and we had heard about ferry scams so we were a bit reluctant to buy a ticket until the GM confirmed it. In the end, we were able to get on an earlier ferry which was great for our travel plans. My only complaint and the only reason I am not giving this place 5 starts was that my daughter was charged over $7 for her cappuccino as they charged everything separately (the oat milk, the honey and the espresso) and she had asked that the honey be mixed in while the espresso shot was hot so the honey mixed in better which they didn't do.
