Where can I start? This place set the bar so high that it was quite difficult not to use it as a benchmark for the rest of our trip. From the beauty of the villas to the vibe of the hotel, this place had us from “hello.” What we didn’t expect was the rest! I have to start with the attention to detail and the deliciousness of every meal from Chef Sendi. We had quite a few requests due to some medical issues, and every single one was met with a smile, genuine care, and personal attention. Nothing ever seemed like a bother. Our day started with the most delicious breakfast. We really looked forward to the smoothies and made-to-order breakfasts, accompanied by the fantastic bread basket and excellent coffee… pure bliss to start the day. And it certainly didn’t end there. Lunch and dinner were equally amazing. Fresh-caught seafood, handmade pasta, mouthwatering sushi… the list goes on and on. Every meal felt special, and the quality and attention to detail never wavered. Also special mention to the live music every night which we really looked forward to. The villas themselves were beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. There was something about waking up in such a beautiful setting and having everything you could possibly need taken care of that made it very hard to leave. The whole property has a wonderful atmosphere — luxurious without feeling stuffy, and relaxed without ever feeling like anything was overlooked. I also have to give a very special shout-out to Roby, the head of cleaning, and his team, as well as the entire reception team and Jordan, the manager. Every question and every request was dealt with with a smile, patience, and genuine attention. In fact, the level of care went well beyond our stay there — they even helped us with matters concerning the days of our vacation after Gili Meno. And perhaps the biggest compliment we can give them is what we actually did: we extended our stay by four extra days, cancelling another hotel we had already booked so that we could remain here longer. With the earthquake affecting our original plans, we had to make some changes to our itinerary, and choosing to stay here for those additional four days was an incredibly easy decision. We simply didn’t want to leave. What impressed us most was that the warmth felt genuine. We never felt like just another guest or another room number. Everyone seemed genuinely invested in making sure we were happy and enjoying our holiday. We absolutely loved our time here. It was one of those places where, by the time you leave, you’re already thinking about when you can come back. If the rest of our trip had to live up to the standard this place set, they certainly had a tough act to follow!

The gastronomy here is a major standout feature. Whether ordering via WhatsApp room service or enjoying fresh sashimi on the restaurant terrace, the food quality is absolutely impeccable. They also feature an incredible, extensive wine cellar that is well worth checking out.What truly elevated our dining experience was the exceptional service at the restaurant. A huge shoutout goes to Kadek Ari, who provided the best service we experienced on the restaurant. As our waiter, Kadek was incredibly attentive, professional, and warm, remembering our preferences and ensuring every meal was absolutely flawless.

Nengah was taking care of us for the lunch we had in the restaurant (which is together with the pool) and he was great (he and all the personnel :)). The hotel is simply incredible and the food was very good! :) It is true that the price is quite high in comparison to other places in the island, but I think it is worth it to at least try once.
