Perfectly affordable luxury on a beautiful island. Every single thing was amazing at Bask. I cannot wait to go back.

We had such an amazing experience here! It was honestly the perfect place to relax and just enjoy the atmosphere. Everything felt so welcoming and peaceful. The food was also absolutely incredible. Definitely the best we’ve had so far! Every dish was full of flavor and made with so much care. A huge shoutout to Will!!! He is by far the kindest, most respectful, and most caring employee we’ve ever met!!!🥹🙏🏼 Will, if you see this, we truly hope all your dreams come true and may destiny always open every door for you! Visited for the day, gorgeous setting, great service, brilliant food however the cocktails were a bit weak!

We had a great stay at the Bask, a special shout-out to the friendly, very helpful staff, who were always perfectly tending to us. The hotel facilities are very nicely grouped around the pool and although there are different lounges and bar areas, it feels connected. The restaurant, room service and reception staff assistance was just perfect. Small room for improvement with somewhat more/larger shadow opportunities at the beach itself, but that is really everything I would change... ;) A heartfelt thanks to everyone!

Amazing Property & Vibes, But Service Needs Serious Improvement Bask Gili Meno is honestly a beautiful place with amazing vibes. The property itself is stunning, relaxing, and exactly the kind of island atmosphere you’d hope for when escaping to Gili Meno. The concept, design, and overall ambience are fantastic. Unfortunately, the service and communication were extremely disappointing and far below the standard the property itself deserves. The hotel communicates mainly through WhatsApp for guest requests, but responses often end with “we are checking on it” — and then nothing follows up unless you chase them repeatedly yourself. One example was room service. I ordered a seafood linguine, but what arrived looked more like seafood fried noodles. At 1:15 PM, I sent a photo asking if they were sure this was linguine. At 1:39 PM, I was told they would check with the chef. After that… silence. I had to follow up again myself at 5:33 PM, only to be told they were still trying to locate the head chef before eventually explaining that it was “homemade pasta.” The issue wasn’t even the dish itself — it was the lack of proactive communication and follow-through. Another frustrating incident happened during the in-villa movie experience. At 10:33 PM, the movie was interrupted because the internet went down. I messaged the team and received a reply at 10:35 PM saying the IT team was checking on it. That ended up being the final response for the night. The TV and internet were still not working the next morning, and I once again had to initiate another follow-up myself at 9:54 AM. What’s disappointing is that the property has so much potential. The atmosphere, rooms, and location are genuinely wonderful. But service recovery, communication, and follow-through need significant improvement because guests should not have to repeatedly chase updates for basic issues. I still enjoyed the overall stay because the place itself is beautiful, but the service experience unfortunately prevented it from feeling like a luxury-level stay.
