Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection and though on the expensive side for Braintree is well worth the money spent. Staff were pleasant attentive but not over powering well worth going to and will be back again for certain

We had our company Christmas meal (mid January) here and I must say that the food was spectacular. Not only this but the service we received from Vicki was fantastic, she is great at her job. I would highly recommend this restaurant and shall definitely be returning in the future.

It was very busy when we arrived on Saturday night, we were given our table as the bar area has limited space but with only one bar staff and only two waitresses it was over 25 minutes before we were served our drinks, with the staff saying "it's coming in a few minutes" definitely needs more staff when it's that busy, a birthday party upstairs with two waitrers in attendance really didn't need to be on duty on the stairs as it was the only route to the toilets, and we had to keep asking them to move when one of us needed the bathrooms. The food was nice and good portions, and filling,

Overpriced & overrated

Very nice food, dessert was amazing. The cocktails where pretty good too 🥳

Absolutely fantastic New Years eve

Fantastic restaurant

We've been several times before this evening and, with the exception of a poor Sunday Lunch experience, have always been pleased, However this evening when we were to go with friends thankfully they cried off due to illness we were disappointed. Having booked and with anticipation of the usual excellent menu choice we arrived to find that the menu was very restricted to nothing more than four or five 'pub' classics. Nothing was said about the restriction when we booked. So what was expected to be a special dinner turned out to be 'pub grub' albeit well cooked and presented. Shame special nights will be somewhere else from now on.
