We rented two day beds on the beach at BASK. The minimum spend was 1mill IDR. The service was incredible, especially from Samuel and Bahrry who were very friendly and attentive! The cocktails were the best we've ever had, so many unique flavours. You definitely need to try the Cinematic Viewing, which tasted like popcorn. We swam out to see the statues without the crowds of the boat trips and whilst we were out there we also saw a turtle and lots of different fish! All in all, an incredible experience at BASK. Next time, we will just be staying at this hotel.

Have been home for one month after staying at Bask and can’t stop thinking about this beautiful resort. The villas are beautiful and the food, beach club etc are five star. Staff member Habib looked after us so well. Can’t wait to return.

The only really good thing about this hotel are the food and the island itself. Terrible terrible - service was disappointing from the moment we arrived. missed our pick-up from Lombok, and we had to chase them up about it through whatsapp. we also had to remind the team multiple times just to have our room made up. Again in room dining through whatsapp likely to get responses after hours. We booked a romantic dinner, but during the dinner we were told they had run out of one of the courses and offered an alternative instead. It wasn’t a huge issue on its own, but it was another moment that made us hmmm ok. We asked to speak with the manager, only to be told there wasn’t one. A restaurant manager eventually came over, but the whole interaction felt quite underwhelming and unprofessional. For the amount of money you’re paying, this hotel simply misses the mark. The island is beautiful and the food is great, but if you’re looking for a genuine luxury hotel experience and services, I’d look elsewhere in other Gili islands.

Jeder Wunsch wird möglich gemacht - neben der Einmaligen offenen und zu jeder Zeit sauberen Architektur macht das Personal den Aufenthalt unverbesserlich. Wir waren 5 Tage hier und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Jede Villa hat einen eigenen Pool - Privatsphäre garantiert (außer direkt am Meer). Besonderer Dank auch an Habib - der Mann für alles im Gästeservice 🙏🏼 Unbedingt machen sollte man eine individuelle Schnorcheltour mit Aking - die Ausrüstung ist top und Highlights sind garantiert.

We loved the food and the location, it has a nice view to Gili T. We were very well attended by Nengah.

Without a doubt, the best part of our vacation. The hotel/resort is just so beautiful, modern and peaceful. We stayed in an ocean view villa, with a big private pool and a private beach. The rooms were immaculate, big, spacious, clean and luxurious. The food was sublime, delicious and had lots of options. The location is just fantastic, just opposite the bask statue which meant we could wake up, roll out of bed, walk across our private beach and dive straight into the water to the best snorkelling spots in the area which had all kinds of fish and massive turtles. During the day, the beach club was relaxing to spend time at with it being not too busy and as hotel guests, we had priority etc At night, the atmosphere is wonderful and peaceful, dinner always had live music by very good performers, it just always had this aura of romance and peace. The best part of the whole resort was the staff, met by the magnificent Kophi who was so welcoming and funny, he conversed with us like he wanted to know us. Then the wait staff who looked after us over the 4 days we were there, Wira, Kadek, Rahim, Nengah, Griffin and Fandi! All absolutely fantastic, giving the best service, remembering what we like, and being overall just so accommodating. Led by their manager Jordan, you can see why everyone who works there is so friendly and lovely. Even when the power went for a few hours of the day, they all came together and still made the day one that I thoroughly enjoyed. There are many more staff there that were just fantastic but I wasn’t able to get their names, but all deserve to be praised as they made our stay a very memorable one. We will be coming back to stay, much longer next time. If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t think, just go, it’s worth it. Thank you Bask for a lovely time, “Mr Christian”

What was the point of the reservation? We then discovered that you had to spend the equivalent of €50 to be able to use the lounger. Well… It must be common practice here, but the way it's done leaves much to be desired: we had barely lain down when an employee came to hand over his card reader to collect the million. What service! The price of drinks is close to European prices, unbelievable. We quickly reached €50 without even ordering alcoholic beverages. We were leaning towards pizzas for dinner, but we asked to see a picture first. We changed our minds when we saw it was just half a pizza… They were selling a signature Black Angus burger for €14, which was expensive, but we went ahead with it. When ordering, I asked for it rare, but they couldn't do it because the steak was frozen. Frozen meat for that price? Unbelievable. The final surprise: the tax percentage wasn't indicated on the menus at all. We were expecting something standard, but instead, they added about 20% tax to the final bill! What a lovely surprise. Aside from that, the hotel is very nice, the pool is clean, and the waiters are attentive. In short: a hotel that tries to give the impression of being high-end, but where the service is questionable. If you have money to spend on appearances, why not, otherwise do like us today, tank your beach towel a few meters away for free. (bar/piscine) J’avais fait une réservation sur le site pour booker un transat sur la plage. Aucune mention du prix ne figure sur leur site. À notre arrivée, l’ensemble des transats sont déjà occupés, à quoi sert la réservation? Nous découvrons ensuite qu’il faut consommer l’équivalent de 50€ pour pouvoir se mettre sur le transat. Bon… Ça doit être une pratique courante ici, mais la manière de faire laisse clairement à désirer: à peine allongés qu’un employé vient tendre son TPE pour encaisser le million. Quel service ! Le prix des conso avoisine les prix européens, hallucinant. Nous allons finalement pu vite atteindre les 50€ sans même prendre de boissons alcoolisées. Nous nous orientons vers des pizzas pour le dîner mais nous demandons d’abord à voir une photo, nous changeons d’avis lorsque nous voyons qu’il s’agit d’une moitié de pizza… Ils vendent un burger signature Black Angus à 14€, c’est cher mais allons-y. A la commande je demande une cuisson bleue, ils ne peuvent pas le faire car le steak est congelé. De la viande congelée pour ce prix ? Incroyable. Surprise finale: le pourcentage des taxes n’est nullement indiqué sur les menus. Nous nous attendions à du standard, au final c’est quelques 20% de taxes qu’on ajoute à votre note finale! Joli cadeau. Au delà de ça, l’hôtel est très joli, la piscine est propre et les serveurs sont attentionnés. Pour la faire courte: hôtel qui veut faire croire à un standing haut de gamme mais où les prestations sont discutables. Si vous avez du fric à dépenser pour le paraître pourquoi pas, sinon faites comme nous aujourd’hui, tankez votre serviette de plage à quelques mètres gratuitement.
