Wanted to make an allergy request for my order online but they don’t answer phone

Only had the grilled chicken and chicken salad. Trying to be healthy. The cook on the chicken was pretty good. Most grilled chicken not cooked well like this. HOWEVER the sauce on the chicken was ridiculously sour! I believe the chicken was not cooked with the sauce on and the sauce/marinade was added after. It tasted floury/chalky and yes okay lemon flavouring is supposed to be sour but this was verging on inedible. Was like citric acid was sprinkled all over the chicken. I might come here to try some the burgers but im not in any rush as im still getting over that taste. Never had anything like it and surpised if no one has said anything! Service was good. Bit of a wait but lady was very polite, freindly and helpful. The decor was nice. Seats clean. BUT there was so many flied everywhere! I was concerned about them landing on food in the kitchen as there was so many. Took a risk and trust and good faith as noticed this after placing the order. Not in any rush to come again. First time i been to any amigos and wasnt what I was expecting. Was disappointed to be honest because when it first opened months before there orders on the chicken were so long I was told I had to wait an hour so I didnt bother.

Quite expansive fir what you get

Food is not the best, but service is with a smile. The wings seem premade, from package. Next time I'll try the burgers, but this occasion, it wasn't impressive

I visited Amigos in Milton Keynes today during my lunch break and ordered online in advance specifically to save time. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived to collect my order, it was incorrect. I explained to the staff member at the till that I had ordered a meal, but without checking the order she insisted I hadn’t and initially refused to provide the drink that was included. Only after I showed my online receipt did she acknowledge the mistake, prepare the chips and provide the drink. I had asked for a can of Coke, which I could see was available behind the counter, but this was refused. The issues didn’t stop there. The beef burger was burnt and had to be replaced. To their credit, they did remake it without any argument, but this completely defeated the purpose of ordering ahead. I ended up waiting for fresh chips and then waiting again for the replacement burger to be cooked, which isn’t ideal when you have a limited lunch break. The restaurant atmosphere wasn’t great either. The music was so loud that I had to ask for it to be turned down so we could have a conversation while eating. What’s most disappointing is that Amigos has been one of my go-to places since opening in Milton Keynes. I’ve always rated it highly, but over recent visits the quality and consistency seem to be declining. I requested extra pickles on my chicken burger and ended up receiving no pickles at all. It’s a shame because Amigos used to stand out locally, but competitors around the corner are raising the bar with both service and food quality. I hope Amigos takes this feedback on board, but based on my recent experiences, I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Food is OK for a fast food place, prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is dreadful. Loud music is played constantly at a level which makes the stay uncomfortable. Would have avoided if the neighbouring cafe had it's card machine working.

We came here for milkshakes and ordered the ferrero rocher and Oreo. We had this as a takeaway and it was unnecessarily wrapped with cling film, which I would understand the need for protection in delivery orders but that was not what we were. I also find it odd that this is the only Amigos branch not offering the usual NHS discount that other franchises do as standard. Also even more odd that the menu has a regular and large option for milkshake, yet they say you can’t order regular and it has to be the large one because they don’t do regular - though funnily enough the size of the milkshake received looks very much regular and not large. Furthermore the staff can barely speak English and just about understand you.

Food is ok but dont expect customer service, manager walking around on his phone and staff member sat behind us face timing on loud speaker, I ended up asking him to be quiet because he was so loud. Asked for ketchup and serviettes and the lady snapped at my fiance saying they are coming.

£8.99 for burger that isn't tasty. I don't think the meat is 100% angus beef. Didn't taste special at all.
