Amigo American Burger Restaurant holds a bit of personal history for me, having first discovered this halal friendly burger joint at the Ilford branch some time ago. That initial visit left a genuinely positive impression—flavourful food, indulgent milkshakes, and a reliably satisfying American-style spread. So naturally, when the new Milton Keynes branch opened its doors, curiosity (and appetite) led me straight there. The Milton Keynes location is clearly fresh off the starting line: spotless interiors, a clean and modern setup, and an atmosphere that feels well cared for. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive without hovering—always a reassuring sign, especially for a newly opened establishment finding its rhythm. As for the food, the Happynero burger was a standout. Strikingly spicy—borderline fiery at moments—but packed with flavour, it delivered exactly the punch you want from an American-style spicy burger. And just as I remembered from Ilford, the milkshake was exceptional: thick, indulgent, and unmistakably one of Amigo’s strongest offerings. Not everything, however, hit the mark. The buttermilk chicken burger lacked distinction; edible, yes, but not memorable. And the mojito mocktail was, quite frankly, the absolute worst of the lot—overly sweet, unbalanced, and without any of the refreshing brightness a mojito-inspired drink should have. That one will not be making it onto my order list again. All that said, Amigo remains a worthwhile stop—especially for their milkshakes and bold beef burgers. While not every item shines, the strengths are strong enough to guarantee I’ll be returning for more.

This place should be seriously shut down. Really poor quality food and service. I spoke to a man to speak about my order and he was totally disrespectful and zero customer service. I would strongly advice to go and Spend your Money elsewhere.

The best burger!!

Highly recommend this Amigos Hounslow West, always fresh food and the best taste here. Not only does the great food make me come back but the customer service here is honestly exceptional, Ali at front is hands down a great asset to the branch here. Will visit again,

One of the best burgers around, I had the Mexican double patty and the Habenero Original and both were grilled to perfection and the mayo sauce is amazing along with the chips perfectly fried, the Habenero Sauce is quite HOT so please do be warned, will try the dippers next and review soon

Came here during the week as a large group as a second choice and so glad we came here instead! The burgers ordered were-happynero, this had a a really good spicy taste got this as a 10oz which was very filling and full of flavour. The Mexican was just as nice, though wasn’t as spicy with the salsa. The kids got the crispy buttermilk burger which was very crispy and perfectly made. The cheesy chips paired with the burgers went down a treat with us all. The ferror rocher milkshake was equally so good, one of the best milkshakes, I enjoyed having it while eating my burger. The only drawdown was the space of the place not being as big, everything else was 10/10. Both Zishan and Abubacker were friendly and accommodating to us all. The food was thoroughly enjoyed by us all, the burgers were really good value for money. No doubt recommend to all.

Friendly staff and great food. Will be back!
