We had an amazing experience at Bask Gili Meno. The accommodations, amenities, service, people, and food all surpassed our expectations. Ibu Rumila efficiently organized our logistics and activities throughout our stay. Pak Jonny was delightful, assisting us with lunch orders and food recommendations. Manager Manu consistently greeted us, sharing insightful stories about the island and providing recommendations for music (please go watch the brotherhood band peform) and activities. His wine list is impressive (he is also the Somm @ Bask), ask him for a wine recommendation! Our snorkeling, fishing, and Trawangan excursion with Ovi Boats, guided by Abi, was incredibly enjoyable. We encountered sea turtles, a baby stingray, vibrant corals, and the mesmerizing Bask nest sculptures (pro tip: go at 6pm just before the sun sets to avoid the crowds). Fishing with Boatman Wathan and Guide Abi was a highlight, we caught so many fishes (grouper, trigger, trumpet, timun timun). Their friendly service made our time unforgettable. I stayed at Bask only during the day and for dinner, not at night. The place is calm and beautiful. If you eat/drink something you can use the pool and the sofas for free. The staff was the best and I appreciated the effort that Arif put to make my stay the best possible! Hope to be able to come back one day!

I visit Bask Gili Meno many times. The place is a dream. They have cozy daybeds where you can relax and super delicious food and drinks. The staff, especially Nafilla and Arif is high class. Would definitely recommend to go there.

This place turned into our oasis during our time in Gili Meno. Food is so fantastic we came here for breakfast and then back again for dinner. Fish curry is a must, and perhaps even a dip in the pool while you wait for your food to come. The coconut water could be improved (why no whole coconuts?). Other than this, the location (facing Gili T) is not my favourite, but that’s based off personal preference. Kudos to Bask for drowning out the club music bumping from Gili T by blasting Michael Buble. Do what you can to get here quick before it becomes overrun with instagrammers and influencers. Bask is fantastic — get here while you can.
