Because of this, quite a few tour boats anchor right in front during the day for snorkeling stops. ​We had dinner at the restaurant, which offers an extensive international menu. The food quality was excellent, though the portions are somewhat small and the prices reflect European standards rather than typical Indonesian ones. That being said, the service was extremely attentive and refined, perfectly matching the venue’s upscale positioning. ​Definitely a spot worth visiting at least once if you are staying on Gili Meno!

We particularly enjoyed the salmon carpaccio and the dessert tasting platter. I found the beetroot in the rocket salad too vinegary to enjoy, but otherwise it was a good salad. The burgers were pricey but delicious. The breakfast Lobster Benedict was garnished with gold leaf! Bask is one of the few Meno restaurants that serves late (until 10 pm). The live evening music was a reason to stop for a drink. Be careful about expressing anything other than complete satisfaction to staff. They take service seriously and will twist themselves out of shape to deliver the best outcome.
