Just been to the house. manager JJ who looked after us all night was very professional as are all the girls the food was excellent as always it's now cooked by new head chef famz and his assistant Harrison, Aaron, theo can highly recommend its as good as ever looking forward to the next time always a great experience💯😋😋

So I’m writing this review before having had my meal due to the fact I’ve been here before! 1. The service is phenomenal, I believe my waiters name is Harry, and I can only say he’s the best. And the best of the best, and I’m not saying this lightly. And the lovely Suzanne behind the bar is like a welcoming mum every time I’ve been here. 2. The atmosphere and decor are a delight. You’d be surprised the conversations that can start with beautiful quotes written on the wall. Now having had the food. The food. Ah where do I start with the food! I thought it was great last time. This time… Ah man this time - clean plates, happy bellies and a warm soul ( not to say that last time wasn’t) but this time was another level. If you have a spare evening / week / afternoon / literally whenever…come here! Oh and if you can have a dog, you can have a baby ( inside joke haha )

Be very careful on what you order as they hide the real price of the meals, the Chateaubriand is actually £70 not £34.50 which they display, why not just display the actual price instead of a shared price. Whoever created that menu for the website needs to be fired, will never return.

We had a nice meal here but a few things could be improved. We found old food under our table, nothing serious but this establishment could do better. Cocktails were ok but not perfect. Our servers were very good but we didn't have the same one twice at our table through our entire meal which can lead to being a bit lost on who to ask for something. The Food- The food was very very good. We ordered the chateaubriand and it was cooked perfectly, except for a couple of pieces of butchers string but other than that we found the found well seasoned, cooked to our request and the sauces and sides perfect. I would have no problem returning here.

Second time we've been to The Chophouse, and another absolutely first class evening. The food is to die for, service second to none, and the restaurant itself is just lovely. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning again.
