The drinks are fine, nothing special compared to the prices. Its really sad how this place is the beginning of the ruin of Gili Meno. Gili Meno is the last of the 3 Island with real authentic atmosphere and local charm, and BASK is ruining that. I think its really capitalistic and lack of heart and understanding of the Indonesian culture to open this kind of place on such a beautiful and original Island. Also BASK uses the poorly fed and very skinny and dirty horses for transportation. I can’t underline enough how this seems like animal abuse - and for such a big and rich company ….that is really low. What about all the money for the overcharge meals and services? Maybe some of it could be used to secure the horses a life up to international standards. I would bear all this in mind before choosing to stay at BASK and using their facilities.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. We were strolling along the beach and decided to go to the sun loungers. The guy told us that to use their service we would have to spend at least 150,000 rupees. We agreed to the deal, and he followed us to the lounger with the card reader and menus. We told him to wait a moment while we settled in and decided what we wanted to order. After two minutes, another guy came back with the same procedure. We told him we weren't sure what to order yet, he looked at us with disdain and left. And the last straw was yet to come. Another guy came back and told us we would have to pay a 1,000,000 rupee deposit and then we could order and spend that million rupees. We got up and left. The service was deplorable and terrible. We felt like we were being treated like criminals, and it made us look bad in front of all the other customers.

Unfortunately a bad review boys ;((( Waited 55 minutes for our drinks to be ordered (I should’ve gotten up and asked however was curious to see how long it would take) (I did in fact get up and ask lol) Served our food 1 hour later, and one of my items (pizza) was missing, couldn’t write it hahahaha, so total time waiting was 2 hours for our food, which I feel was a little hyped up🤷🏼‍♂️ sushi was pretty good but the rest not for me and won’t be coming back here unfortunately, however lovely lovely hotel and location, maybe best on the island just due to what’s around. Hopefully ya’ll have a better experience than me ;)!!
