Travelled over from Gili T for a day of snorkeling and hadn't planned to even visit BASK. As we walked passed we asked about a good snorkeling location and invited to use the sun loungers in return for purchasing drinks (standard in the islands). We really only thought about a having a couple of soft drinks and a quick snorkel before moving on. But the service from the staff, the menu, location, facilities where amazing. We planned to rent Fins from a beach hut, they went and got them, they enquired about how we arrived and sorted out a return boat for us (reasonable priced), lunch was really enjoyable and among the best meals we've had since arriving into Indonesia. The place is immaculate, service is fantastic, staff a joy to talk to and it seemed like nothing was too much effort. We where really blown away by them Great snorkeling spot too, lots of turtles, reef is in better condition and safer to swim to. Lots of turtles, fish and of course the famous statues. One of the best days on our stay in the Gili Islands. I would suggest it should be in your top 5 things to do.
