How an invitation flows

  1. 1. Your store or CRM posts an order to your private inbound URL, signed with the secret from your dashboard.
  2. 2. We queue an invitation with a send date of order date plus your delay (7 days by default).
  3. 3. The email goes out from TheReviews with a one-time link that expires in 30 days.
  4. 4. The customer writes the review. It is marked Verified, you are notified, and a webhook fires if you have one.

Rules that come with the tools

  • Invitations go to every customer. Filtering by likely rating is a guideline breach and costs the Verified badge.
  • One invitation per order. Reminders are fine, repeats are not.
  • The customer can unsubscribe from a business in one click, and we honour it across all your integrations.
  • Limits per month: 50 on Free, 150 on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,000 on Scale.
