The General manager who was also the sommelier recommended a wine for me. Most of my trip I did not drink alcohol opting instead for fruit smoothies and sparkling water as I like wine and a nice wine by the glass was hard to find and was overpriced because of the taxes there. So for the most part I had a detox vacation which was also good for me. Our evening here was very enjoyable. Staff was super attentive. The next morning, the General manager was super helpful as well. He seemed to be the only person on the island who was aware that there was an extra ferry going back to Bali after the Day of Silence and this relieved a lot of stress for us as we needed to get back to Bali and had not pre-booked a ferry and we had been told by many that all the ferry bookings were sold out for that day. My daughter had ran to the ferry area and was informed about the 3 pm ferry but nobody else could verify it for us and we had heard about ferry scams so we were a bit reluctant to buy a ticket until the GM confirmed it. In the end, we were able to get on an earlier ferry which was great for our travel plans. My only complaint and the only reason I am not giving this place 5 starts was that my daughter was charged over $7 for her cappuccino as they charged everything separately (the oat milk, the honey and the espresso) and she had asked that the honey be mixed in while the espresso shot was hot so the honey mixed in better which they didn't do.

Very nice location! Loved the breakfast and sunbeds. It’s also a great spot for snorkelling and they can organise the gear for rent.

BASK is exquisite. It is clear that every component of the resort has been meticulously thought out and designed to provide guests with a perfect experience. The food is divine without being inaccessible or unaffordable, the staff are kind and gracious, the rooms (or pods) are luxurious and sleek, and Gili Meno is gorgeous. We are particularly appreciative to Manu and his team, for caring for us while we had the pleasure of being on the island. We had the most perfect time here, and dream of returning. Get to BASK before it is discovered!!
