Discovered Bask while island-hopping today and it’s the best bar / beach club I’ve been to in Gili so far. Every staff member I met greeted me with a beautiful smile, chatted with me and treated me to amazing service. I sat by the beach all afternoon for delicious snacks & cocktails and was even handed a towel for their beautiful pool. They went the extra mile and helped to arrange for a speedboat after sunset to pick me up from the shore! As a solo traveller - This was just what I needed today after diving in busy Gili T for a few days. I’ll definitely be back, as I would love to stay at the hotel too. My photos don’t do this spot justice, I’d highly recommend going to check it out yourself :) Thank you so much Bask!

What an idyllic afternoon we spent at Bask. Do not miss the opportunity. If you wish to impress or relax in style with friends, great company, or that special someone this place will impress. Don’t be intimidated and simply make sure you go there. Indulge in the food and wine - wear your bathers, take your cigars (if that’s your thing) and get ready for a memory that will last the ages. Unpretentious but very fine indeed. Hang around for the sunset, snorkel out to the famous sunken statues and/or the marine life including turtles. Do yourself a favour, you won’t be disappointed.
