I love this place because the food is fantastic, the staff are also very welcoming.You can garantee the food will be good. Have visited many times. I highly recommend it.

Brilliant little restaurant, right in the centre of Braintree. Great ambience, the staff are lovely and the food is delicious.

Starter was lovely but waited over an hour for our main, the waitress apologised for the delay but didnt explain why. I asked for a rare steak and it was more medium. Was a nice meal but food not reflective of the price sadly. Waitresses were all very friendly.

Louise and her team were excellent the chefs really know how food to cook good food everything made from scratch I can't fault the Chophouse it's a jewel in the crown of Braintree
