First time visit, pleasant evening but won’t be rushing back. Had the ribeye steak but quite disappointed as a lot of grizzle, definitely not worth the cost. Surprised steak didn’t come with any source and wasn’t offered any condiments had to ask. Duck main had to be taken back to kitchen to be re cooked as oozing with blood

We've been several times before this evening and, with the exception of a poor Sunday Lunch experience, have always been pleased, However this evening when we were to go with friends thankfully they cried off due to illness we were disappointed. Having booked and with anticipation of the usual excellent menu choice we arrived to find that the menu was very restricted to nothing more than four or five 'pub' classics. Nothing was said about the restriction when we booked. So what was expected to be a special dinner turned out to be 'pub grub' albeit well cooked and presented. Shame special nights will be somewhere else from now on.

Ok but very expensive

Starter was lovely but waited over an hour for our main, the waitress apologised for the delay but didnt explain why. I asked for a rare steak and it was more medium. Was a nice meal but food not reflective of the price sadly. Waitresses were all very friendly.

Nice meal, reasonably priced and pretty good quality but service very slow plus we were seated in a small alcove which was quite cramped.

Had the special, a rib eye steak, expensive and about1/3 was inedible as it was all thick unrendered fat. I did raise with staff but no offer of comp or replacement. Service otherwise good but food generally average for the price point.

Went here for mother's Day had to wait 1 hour 15 minutes for food to arrive which wasn't great, food was amazing when it did arrive, staff very friendly.
