I never usually leave reviews but the food in particular the Chateau Briand was one of the best I’ve ever had and the service from Daisy was excellent. Highly Recommend this little hidden gem of a restaurant

It's always a pleasure to dine here. The food is excellent and much of it is locally sourced. The staff are great too. Still top marks all round after all these years. Long may it continue

I don’t ever write reviews, but I felt I had to for this restaurant. I came here on a date with my boyfriend, and everything was absolutely wonderful. I’m from America, so my taste buds are way off 😂, but the food here was incredible. The portions were generous, and the flavors were amazing. We were already planning our next visit halfway through the meal. Our host was also incredibly kind and welcoming. If you’re looking for a lovely night out, definitely come here—you won’t regret it.

Great to have such an amazing restaurant in the area. The food absolutely first class - as good as you will get anywhere. The staff are brilliant and help to make eating here a great occasion.

First visit here (hopefully it won't be the last). My son had been before and really enjoyed the food. The menu was comprehensive, they even had a separate vegan page with plenty of delightful options. 😊 The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our three courses were all served up with a pleasant chat and just the right amount of wait in-between the courses. All of our dishes were tasty and most enjoyable. The restaurant is really clean and smart, as are the staff. I would have liked more people in there to create an atmosphere. But what is, is what is. Maybe it was quiet as we were quite late in the afternoon. Overall, we all throughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you very much.
