To get a member of Staff to come to our table was very Hard work. The fact that.there were tables available on a Saturday evening was strange. Food was OK but the whole atmosphere not great. We won't go there again.

Lovely place for Braintree but very cramped seating areas, we sat by the stairs and all night you got people walking past the tables to go upstairs to the toilet or the waitresses taking food up and down. Took almost 15 mins to be offered a drink before eventually taking our order Overall id say this is a overated pricey restaurant Food was lovely and the staff were great, but they really need to look at how cramped this seating areas is.

While the food was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. The waiting staff lacked professionalism, often clearing the table without confirming if we had finished our meal.

Cauliflower 'steak' delicious but expensive (£18) medium glass of white wine £9! Skate (£25) full of bones, which made it unpleasant to eat and a choking hazard, no warning or extra cutlery supplied. Bottled water (£3.25) Left without trying desserts as so disappointed, and didn't want to ruin our anniversary meal any further

They rave about their super crispy roast potatoes - no sight of those I'm afraid. Also if you post whilst your there you're meant to get a glass of prosecco. Didn't get that either. Full of promise but no delivery!
